Eminem coming back from the ashes...




"The great Eminem is back with his best batch of music since 2002's The Eminem Show. His latest release, Recovery, which was leaked a few weeks ago on the Internet, made its way to stores and became available for legal download on June 21st.
Over the past few years, Eminem has been in a self-admitted slump, when he was on drugs and going through rehab. Eminem even apologizes for his last two albums, 2004's Encore and last year's Relapse(...)"

California Gurls, being unimaginative with Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg

Kate Perry. Pop as sugar can be.


It's not considered novel when all you do is to dress your old dolls with new rags. That's how I feel with Katy Perry's California Gurls featuring Snoop Dogg. Not that I don't like Katy Perry... she seems well-intentioned enough and happy to be what she is - something hard to find in an easy-to-change-who-you-are-in-the-name-of-fame world. 

Snoop Dogg is the same as always... unimaginative and boring, although lovingly familiar in a good way.

All and all it's a popular tune with the same old beats and tricks meant to move an audience easily... It's colorful, silly and will dumb you as you listen to it - scientifically proved- among other things.
